This gorgeous wedding takes place in Morrison, CO. at the Red Rocks Country Club. Natalie and Eli (bride and groom) share a love of everything nature such as hiking, skiing, and wild style flowers. Right up my alley!

It was a honor to participate in creating this day to be magical for these two love birds. I must mention that I feel so lucky to be able to take my passion for nature, and share it with like-minded people. I think that is truly how the magic unfolds!

Caring for succulents

Caring for succulents is fairly a low-maintenance task. Although they usually grow in dry arid climates like deserts, they do like their moisture.

What you need:

  • Fresh Water
  • Weekly/Seasonal monitoring
  • Balanced fertilizer during grow season

The growing season for most succulents and cacti is from spring to fall. During this time, they should be watered generously so their soil is wet and even draining out of the container. You can also provide a balanced fertilizer (equal parts of Nitrogen, Phosphorous, and Potassium) during their grow season as well to add a some extra nutrients for their consumption.

During the cooler seasons, you should extend the water period to about 1.5 to 2 weeks or when the soil is almost completely dry.
